Persson wins battle, loses War

In the Danish League Semi-Final showdown between club giants GreveStrand and VestSjaelland, Joachim Persson registered the biggest win of his career over Greve Captain Kenneth Jonassen but it wasn't enough for his team to win.

30 minutes after the monstrous upset, Michael Lamp and Donna Kellog answered back with a stunning defeat of VestSjaelland's World Champions, Gail Emms and Tony Gunawan, to give the advantage back to Greve.

With the remaining 4 matches predictably split between the two clubs, it came down to a thrilling Golden set between Lars "The Matrix" Paske and Donna Kellog vs Rasmus "the Moose" Mangor and Anastasia Ruskih.

Though Mangor and Ruskih played extremely well, there was simply nothing to do against the Ice-cold nerves of Lars Paske.

Without changing his facial expression at any time during the lightning-paced set, Paske catured the game and a finals birth for Greve with a 21-16 victory.

Michael Kjeldsen of Vest Sjaelland commented "It was so damn close and we had alot of chances in both Semi Finals. I'm still wondering if I should have used Tony Gunawan in the Golden set but it's over now. We will focus on the bronze medal match and on winning the Gold next year."

The League finals will see Greve seek it's first ever title against 13 time champion Kastrup Marleby.
